Welcome to the Cambridge University Society of Women Substack.

An introduction to our page

Our goal is simple: to platform women’s voices. Whether it be an op-ed or a research article, free verse poetry or an essay written at 2AM, we will publish all sorts of pieces by women and about women. All work will be authored by our all-female membership or our affiliated alumnae. No two pieces of work will be the same, given our diverse membership and our lack of affiliation to any one political party. Opinion, style and genre will vary. Posts will not adhere to a fixed schedule, but we aim to share our contributors’ work weekly where possible.

Keep an eye out for a print edition of our work, in the form of a journal, set to be released at the end of the academic year. You can keep up to date by subscribing to this page, which guarantees that you will be notified whenever we post content. Stay informed of other society goings-on by following us on social media or checking out our website.
